He talked about the classification system used by Roget and showed the audience some primary source documents in Roget’s hand. On April 29 1852, the first edition of Roget’s. Kendall described Roget as obsessed with writing lists and contends that this practice saved him from suffering from the same severe depression that inflicted his mother, sister and uncle.
